Thank you Dennis Webb and Upside team for sharing your experience of using ClamAV. Do you guys make use of clamav-daemon, if yes what configurations (clamd.conf) would you recommend based on over a year of usage experience?

Unlike you guys, I am looking into running the clamav-daemon locally and then using it in a REST service and I am curious to know what configuration worked best for others.

Nicholas Albion seems like the solution that I am wishing to deploy is somewhat similar to yours however, I use the java client (https://github.com/solita/clamav-java) instead of the node version. Do you have any insights to share?
